Image via WikipediaSo we learned that we are, indeed, staying in TX for the next two years. This is pretty good news for us. Ashleigh is still working on plans to move back to WA.
James and Nick are doing well for the most part. Actually all three boys came down with a cold and are wiped out today, with little to no energy for anything other than cartoons. They will be better soon, Chappy annointed them with oil before going to work.
Now for John. He and I came home on Saturday evening after being educated on insulin and blood glucose. The only complaints that I had about the hospital experience was the food they offered a diabetic and that they forgot about the water that had been requested several times. Otherwise, we had a very very nice experience. He is on insulin for about 2-3 months to see if his body can get back in balance and then off of it. John is determined to not have to shoot insulin for the rest of his life and is working on exercise and continuing making good choices for food. His readings have been under 200 quite a bit.
