Our trip from WA to CO was mostly uneventful, though i am relying on Chappy's news reporting for these details.  Chappy drove the entire way.  I did offer to drive, honestly, but I wasn't overly insistantly.  It took us 24hours, even with our 2hour nap break in Wyoming. Notable Events: Ok I must give a little back story.  We took a trip out to CO last June (2009) and on our return trip, before we even left Colorado Springs (10min into the trip) we were pulled over by a CO State Patrol officer.  The reason: our rear plate couldn't be seen, due to the hitch trailer shelf-thingy.  So we moved it and life was good. Jump forward to Friday in Utah.  Chappy remembers the state troopers observation from summer 2009 and he takes a few minutes to move the plate to the trailer shelf again.  A couple hours later we get pulled over by a Utah state patrol.  Chappy and I were shrugging?  What could possibly be wrong?  "Do you know why you were pulled over?"  "Uh, no, actually we are curious."  "Your licence plate isn't illuminated."  Argh!  Chappy, with interjections from me, explained the story.  He let us go with a great deal of understanding. Another event is merely related to the puppy's first cross country adventure.  Our first parts of the trip resulted in yakking chunks, even though he hadn't eaten.  Eventually I remembered that I had brought melatonin for the very purpose of keeping the dog relaxed.  So we gave him 1.5mg and he didn't yak again.  He even perked up and looked forward to getting to go in the car again. Our first stop was to see my dad and family friends in Evergreen, CO.  It was a great start to a visit.  (Can't wait for my mom to come into town from NY.) We only stayed one night because Ashleigh and her Cousin had a Christmas party to attend for TKD. Currently we are in Colorado Springs with Chappy's family. Ashleigh and John are staying the nights with their cousins--due to the puppy. Notable quotes: James: Mom, you know what makes me fart?  Protien.  I get meat toots and chicken gas. 2.
