James is 12!

James turned 12 yesterday.  It was a quiet day, Chappy is on call this week.  We'll celebrate more fully this weekend or early next week.  James is so patient a child, LOL!  We did have a special breakfast of omelets and cheese, pancakes, and oj.  Lunch was special too: cheese quesadillas.  Dinner was a shepherds pie, mmmm!

Nickolas and I spent an hour at the library working on his book idea.  It is interesting how their faces fall when you start asking questions, that need to be answered, to build a thorough story with well developed characters.  But after the initial shock, Pickle got right on board with his story writing.  Ashleigh was a pain in the patuky though, LOL!

John and I will hopefully get to the library for his tomorrow.
