The time winds down-- 10 days to go and we are on the road. Originally we thought we were going to see the Redwoods, then the Sequoias, now we might get to see lake Tahoe on the way. Redwoods were not the trees we wanted to see and the Sequoias are closed until summer. But Chappy did say that the Sequoias are closer than they are here. So who knows, maybe, someday. We've gotten quite a bit packed, but there is more. This whole week will be dedicated to packing and cleaning. We turn the keys over on the 31st of March, which also means we drive out the 31st and say goodbye to Ashleigh for another 60-ish days. This should put us in CO around the 2nd or 3rd, I guess. Unless we find something else to stop and see. James and Nick will say goodbye to their Scouting friends this week. And we'll be seeing the last of some friends for a while this week too. Moving, bitter sweet. God Bless, Darc |
A chronicle of our families life in a year. The goal is to print a "year book" of our family activities. A sort of family journal.
