Our normal morning walk wasn't normal today. Chappy decided to hike on the Franklin Mountain State Park. So we hiked with the dog up to the Aztec Caves. I am out of shape! But it was really nice. The cave itself was lack luster, but the view was nice and the vegetation is so unique to deserts. We spoke to the park ranger-- really really nice man!-- and we learned several things about the state and state parks, both here in TX and in NM.  ok. gotta go-- work to do. Love darc |
