So we went on a morning walk and got a call. We've got good news and we've got bad news. The good news: You are not deploying to Afghanistan. The Bad news: you are not going to Ft Hood. Instead, you are going to Ft Bliss. How quick can you get here? So our basic moving plans are the same: we leave here (we are told) April 1 but, with a quick stop in CO, we head down to Ft Bliss to sign into the unit April 21. We don't have the orders yet (we are expecting the RFO today), so the dates are a little fluid still. We are praising God. God Bless Darc |
